Dusty's Story
Dusty was adopted by his foster mom, Stephanie Dorman of Beloit, WI. Stephanie writes "Dusty is amazing. I love him so much - he has me completely wrapped around his little paw! I tell everyone how wonderful it is to be owned by a rescued senior Shar Pei." Dusty lives with two Shar Pei siblings, Sherman and Lilly, and two DSH kitties, Spencer and Nigel. Boris and Shadow's Story
Two Shar Pei Savers happy endings for one family ... Boris (aka Jefferson) was adopted by Stefanie and Brian Broggi of Eastpointe, MI. Boris was one of Sassy's puppies that SPS rescued when they were 3 weeks old. When Boris was around 2 years old, the Broggis also adopted Shadow. Boris couldn't be happier having a new brother to play with! Special thanks to Kevin and Judy Wale for fostering Boris, Sassy, and Sassy's five other pups and to The Shonks for fostering Shadow. We are grateful to the numerous Guardian Angels of Sassy and her pups and to Shadow's Guardian Angel: John Marr (South Haven, MI).
Yogi's Story
Yogi was adopted by the Michael and Jill Faulkner family of Oswego, IL. Yogi joins a Shar Pei brother and a Chow Chow sister and is very well loved. Special thanks to Yogi's Guardian Angel: Chaffie McKenna (Milwaukee, WI), in memory of Samantha Anya and Chip.
Bruiser's Story
Bruiser was adopted by Beverly Owns from Eastpointe, MI. Beverly writes: "Just wanted to let you know Bruiser is doing wonderful and had a great Christmas. Thanks again for finding such a loving dog for our home. Nikki (The shari pei I adopted last year) said to tell you THANKS for the brother. :) To watch the two of them together, you would think they have been together all their lives. They are so good for each other, Nikki being Bruisers eyes at times and Bruiser helping to show Nikki that not all people are going to miss treat her. It is so great to see that after all they both have been through, they both still know how to be that fun loving dog they should be! McGwire's Story
McGwire was adopted by the Tompson family of Westerville, OH. McGwire joins a Pei sister, Nana. Bill wrote this about Mac: "Everybody's right in what they have said about Mac. He's a gem." Special thanks to the Wittig Family of Janesville, WI for fostering McGwire, Doug and Collette Jacobs (Waukesha, WI) for all of their help, and the Moore family of Columbus, OH for saving Mac's life.
Sammy's Story
Sammy was adopted by Monica Porter and Dr. Robert Wertz of Westerville, OH. Monica writes: "Thank you all again for the chance to be Sammy's family! We couldn't be happier with him."
