Shakan's Story

Shakan, now Dupree, was adopted by his foster mom, Cheryl Svincek. Dupree joins SPS alum Tillie – and just loves his new family! Cheryl writes “I'm letting you know that Dupree is a gift from God. He makes me laugh from the time I get up to the time I go to bed. He is active, loves his new food, and he is kind and attentive to his new sister. He is smart, loyal and loving, and is also very secure and trusting. What more could anyone ask?” Thanks to everyone who helped rescue Dupree and find his new home.

Wendy's Story

Wendy, now Molly, went to her forever home with Cheri and Jim Morgrette in Saginaw, MI. She joins shar pei sister, Punkin. Cheri writes “She gets along great with our other dog, Punkin. We feel blessed to have another shar pei to love!! Thank you for all of your help!!” Huge thanks to Molly’s foster family, and to everyone else who helped save Molly and find her such a great home!

Grady's Story

Grady found his forever home with Sara and Mark Vila. Sara writes "I just wanted to thank Shar Pei Savers for connecting us with the greatest dog in the world! We adopted Grady in September of 2008. Once we met Grady there was no question about him joining our family. He is our first Shar Pei and we absolutely adore him. We joke about him making us late for work because it is so hard to leave him in the morning! Grady loves going for long walks, playing fetch in the house, and is just a sweet dog all round. Thank you Shar Pei Savers!!"

Mason's Story

Mason found his forever home with Christine Adryan and joins canine sister, Sasha. Christine writes, “Pei are truly unique in the canine world and I’m so glad that they share our lives. Thanks to all of you for bringing Mason into our family, he’s a great pal for Sasha and we love him very much.”

Gypsy's Story

Gypsy was adopted by Barry and Sylvia Adler. Barry writes "Gypsy is a wonderful, sweet dog. Sylvia and I fall deeper in love with her everyday, and I think she loves us, too. She has adjusted very quickly to her new forever home. We could not have been any luckier. Thank you!"

Bear's Story

Bear found his happy ending with Lori and Brian in Indiana. His mom writes “Everyone loves him. He's such a good looking dog. Everyone comments on him. When we are out walking, strangers even comment on how great he looks and want to pet him. And he is gracious when strangers come up to him. He loves the attention. He is such a laid back dog. He's perfect for us. He always wants to be where we are. I can't tell you how often I talk about Shar Pei Savers. This has been the most wonderful experience for us. It has worked out so well for us. Any time I hear of someone talking about getting a dog, I tell them about our experience. I don't know if I have convinced anyone to get a shar pei, but I know I have influenced people to get dogs from other rescue organizations.”

Dylan's Story

Dylan was adopted by Julie and DuWayne Skerhutt of Wisconsin and has truly found a forever home! Julie writes, "He loves to lay by us or jump up on us with his front paws when we are sitting in a recliner (when we allow it) & then he will just lay there while you pet him. He really is very sweet!"

 Faye and Ginger's Story
