01/10/2010Douglas and Olivia were adopted by the Kundanis family of Park Ridge, IL. They join a Maltese brother, Seven. Esther wrote this: "I want to thank you and everyone who made this possible for us. Our lives are more complete since bringing Olivia & Douglas into our home. I thank God that I can be apart of these two wonderful dogs lives and share their love and build our memories. We are truly blessed!" Special thanks to Julia Breitzman, Randi Ivey, Mary Hanovich, Sara Gilson, Jason Arbuckle, Paula Burkholder, Angie Sanchez, and all of the other Mani's Miracle Workers who helped save Douglas and Olivia from a puppy mill in northern WI.

01/09/2010Dusty was adopted by his foster mom, Stephanie Dorman of Beloit, WI. Stephanie writes "Dusty is amazing. I love him so much - he has me completely wrapped around his little paw! I tell everyone how wonderful it is to be owned by a rescued senior Shar Pei." Dusty lives with two Shar Pei siblings, Sherman and Lilly, and two DSH kitties, Spencer and Nigel. 01/09/2010Dylan was adopted by Julie and DuWayne Skerhutt of Wisconsin and has truly found a forever home! Julie writes, "He loves to lay by us or jump up on us with his front paws when we are sitting in a recliner (when we allow it) & then he will just lay there while you pet him. He really is very sweet!"

01/09/2010Gypsy was adopted by Barry and Sylvia Adler. Barry writes "Gypsy is a wonderful, sweet dog. Sylvia and I fall deeper in love with her everyday, and I think she loves us, too. She has adjusted very quickly to her new forever home. We could not have been any luckier. Thank you!"

01/09/2010Bruiser was adopted by Beverly Owns from Eastpointe, MI. Beverly writes: "Just wanted to let you know Bruiser is doing wonderful and had a great Christmas. Thanks again for finding such a loving dog for our home. Nikki (The shari pei I adopted last year) said to tell you THANKS for the brother. :) To watch the two of them together, you would think they have been together all their lives. They are so good for each other, Nikki being Bruisers eyes at times and Bruiser helping to show Nikki that not all people are going to miss treat her. It is so great to see that after all they both have been through, they both still know how to be that fun loving dog they should be!
