What is a foster home for a Shar Pei?

A foster home is a short-term arrangement in which a Shar Pei rescued by Shar Pei Savers receives love, care, and socialization in a family’s home.

What will it cost for me to foster a Shar Pei?

All veterinary expenses are covered by Shar Pei Savers. You will only have to provide food and as much love as you can give.

What if I fall in love with my foster Shar Pei?

Foster families always have the right of first refusal when a potential adopter is interested in their foster Shar Pei.

How else can I help?

There’s always something you can do: identify Shar Pei in shelters that need to be rescued, post flyers, attend meet & greets, take a foster dog to a vet appointment, visit the home of a potential adopter … The list is endless!
